Oluyole Warriors announce major shake up in team ahead of 2023/2024 NPFL second Stanza

Shooting Stars of Ibadan announced a major shake-up in the team on Wednesday ahead of the commencement of the second round of the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, with the acquisition of five new players.





In a bid to ensure improved performance in the second stanza, the coach Gbenga Ogunbote-led technical crew recruited fresh legs to bolster the squad.





Among the players signed are former Golden Eaglets player, Alimi Sunday, from Sunshine Stars of Akure, Jimoh Oni, who is joining the team from Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Inter Lagos, and Hadi Mohammed from Akwa United of Uyo.





Adewale Yusuf from Lobi Stars and left-back Ehibe Victor complete the list of new additions.





Meanwhile, the Oluyole Warriors have also confirmed the release of six players from the team.





Top on the list is striker Kareem Ademola, who has secured a deal outside the country, Anayor Ogbonna, and goalkeeper Ovunda Darlintin.





Others are striker Emeka Obiora, winger Michael Eneruna, and center-back Ezeala Uche, who has teamed up with Rangers International.
