Katsina Utd beef up team with six players

In preparation for the second stanza of the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League season, Katsina United has actively bolstered its squad by recruiting six new players in the mid-season transfer window.
Currently occupying the 8th position on the league standings, the Changi Boys aim to enhance their team’s capabilities and performance.
The newly recruited players include Abiodun Adebayo, a skilled center-back from Niger Tornadoes, adding defensive strength to the team. Jonas Emmanuel, a dynamic striker from Rangers International, brings attacking prowess and goal-scoring potential. Abdullahi Musa Wakili, an attacking midfielder from Lobi Stars, contributes creativity and playmaking skills to the midfield.
Shamsudeen Hashim, another addition from Lobi Stars, joins as an attacker, providing additional options in the offensive department. Taofeek Ahmed, a striker from Kwara United, brings his goal-scoring abilities and agility to the front line. Completing the list is Jonah James, an attacker from Abia Comets, adding depth and variety to the team’s attacking options.
