Ferrari extends partnership with Charles Leclerc ‘beyond 2024’

Ferrari has officially announced the contract renewal of Charles Leclerc, extending his association with the Formula One team “beyond the 2024 season.” Although the exact duration of the contract extension wasn’t specified, the 26-year-old Monegasque driver expressed his delight, stating, “To race for this team has been my dream since I was three years old.”




Leclerc finished fifth in the previous season, trailing behind world champion Max Verstappen, and he remains determined to achieve his ultimate dream of winning the world championship with Ferrari.




Charles Leclerc has been a part of Ferrari’s F1 team since 2019, joining one year after his debut in the premier racing championship with Sauber. Having been associated with the Ferrari Driver Academy earlier, Leclerc’s journey includes winning the F2 championship in 2017.






Throughout his tenure with the Scuderia, Leclerc has achieved notable success, securing five Grand Prix victories, claiming 30 podium finishes, and starting from pole position 23 times.




In a statement, Leclerc expressed confidence in the years ahead, anticipating great times together with Ferrari and a shared goal of making fans happy.
